Equality NC has had to make difficult decisions this year to meet the political, cultural, and financial moment with the aim of continuing to serve our community by prioritizing our mission-critical work.  We've done so with heavy hearts because these decisions have necessitated organizational restructuring and staff changes. These changes have had a profound impact on everyone on the team as we work to ensure a more sustainable future for Equality NC's profoundly impactful work.

As a community dedicated to championing equality, justice, and inclusion for all LGBTQ+ people in North Carolina, we refuse to let this setback hinder our progress. We’ve been working internally on exciting new programs we plan to showcase later this year. Our commitment to creating a safer, more equitable world for all marginalized folks remains ever-present. At this moment, we want to extend deep gratitude to our partner organizations for being there for us every step of the way and to our incredible supporters and collaborators. We could not do such critical advocacy work without you.
