Goal met: Thanks to your support, we hit our $25K end-of-year fundraising goal!
From small towns and big cities, our community is fighting for a fairer North Carolina. Here’s how you can dive in and make a difference with us today.
Equality NC wouldn’t exist without our amazing volunteers. You don't need a background in politics to make an impact—you just need to care. Whether you’re a total extrovert who loves talking to crowds or an introvert who prefers helping out behind the scenes, we’ve got a spot for you (both in-person and virtually!).
Equality NC honestly did me a huge favor. They gave me a place to channel all my existential dread into something productive. I feel like this community gave me way more than I could ever give back.
— An ENC Volunteer
Looking back at Pride 2025, we’re still blown away by what we all did together. The numbers speak for themselves, but it’s the people behind them that matter:
Every single place we stopped, we focused on the things that matter most right now: getting people registered to vote, protecting healthcare access, and fighting back against bad bills with our H606 Action Alert.
We want to show up even bigger for Pride 2026, but we can't do it without you. Whether you’re ready to register voters or just want to be a friendly, welcoming face at the table, we’d love to have you.
Real movements are built on relationships. Whether you’re looking for a statewide educational webinar, a town hall, or just a casual hangout with other queer folks and allies in your neighborhood, there’s always something happening.
A lot of that magic happens through our ENC Regional Communities. These local groups meet up regularly to build community, share updates, and do the vital grassroots work that powers our advocacy.
Our chapters were absolute powerhouses during the 2024 elections, and we’re growing them even bigger this year—with a special focus on building community in Western, Charlotte, and the Triangle.
Ready to dive in? Check out our main calendar to see what's coming up, or hop straight into a local Facebook group to meet your neighbors.
