Goal met: Thanks to your support, we hit our $25K end-of-year fundraising goal!

Forty-seven years ago, Equality NC began as a dream. A small collective of people came together to fight for fairness at a time when our community lacked even the most basic civil rights. Today, we are the oldest statewide LGBTQIA+ organization in the country—and we are still on the front lines protecting our neighbors.
But our history proves that we don't just survive. When we stick together, we build power.
To celebrate our legacy and fund this critical next chapter, choose one of our four unique anniversary giving tiers to invest in our power today!

Right now, MAGA extremist politicians in Raleigh are doing everything they can to protect corporate donors while ignoring everyday North Carolinians. From siphoning funds from public schools and stripping resources from rural hospitals to using trans youth as political bargaining chips, their agenda does not represent our values.
Our local communities are where the most direct harm is being done—but they don't have what we have: the collective power of all of y'all.
To push back and protect our future, we need infrastructure. This year, we are endorsing nearly 100 pro-equality candidates across North Carolina. Getting them across the finish line requires real resources.

Your gift to Equality NC’s advocacy arm fuels the power we need to win in 2026:
The stakes are high. With 382,000 LGBTQIA+ adults living in North Carolina, we cannot afford to lose ground. Your gift today will help stop anti-trans attacks and push for policies that affirm dignity and equality for all.
