Attorney General Roy Cooper
Raleigh, N.C. - Equality NC Foundation is proud to announce that North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper will be the keynote speaker at the 2013 Equality NC Foundation Gala: "A Celebration of Home," November 9, 2013, in downtown Greensboro. This beloved North Carolina native son, vocal opponent of Amendment One, and all-around supporter of LGBT rights, will headline the year's biggest pro-Equality event.
REGISTER NOW to be a part of this historic night as the biggest names in North Carolina's pro-equality movement take the stage for one special evening of celebration and inspiration to move our state forward for Equality.
Last year, Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II of the NAACP of North Carolina captivated the Equality Gala audience with a stirring message that introduced what would become the nationally-recognized Moral Monday movement he would go on to lead.
This year, we're excited to hear from Attorney General Cooper on his work with the LGBT community and his thoughts for the future of all North Carolinians.
