Charlotte Non-Discrimination Vote

Feb 22, 2016 5:00 PM

Come wear blue to show your support for fairness and equality. We'll also have signs and stickers for folks to show additional solidarity. Be sure to get there early to get seats - the meeting will began at 6 pm.

On Monday, February 22, the Charlotte City Council, at the leadership of Mayor Jennifer Roberts, will once again take up a vote on crucial protections for the LGBTQ community.

Charlotte needs these protections, but in order to secure this victory for fairness and equality, we need your voice, now more than ever. Join us in sending a message to city council that there is no room for discrimination in our fine city.

Let the Charlotte City Council and Mayor Roberts know that we support them in adding these crucial updates to city code. Your voice - and the stories of LGBTQ people that live, work, and play here - are the way we'll win together.

Join us in standing up for equality, and a fair and just Charlotte.
