Over the past 30 days, Equality North Carolina has hit the ground running with a month of events and opportunities to get engaged in the lead-up to the most important election of our lifetimes.

Now, as we approach the Early Voting period from Oct. 15-31, we invite you to join us for a Weekend of Action over National Coming Out Day. Check out the details below, and join us in community all weekend long!

Saturday, Oct. 10

• ENC Call-A-Thon: Join Equality North Carolina for an all-day event where we'll phone bank folks across North Carolina to help Get Out The Vote! All are welcome! After registering at the link above, our staff will contact you to set up training, answer any questions you may have and find out which shifts you'd be available to work.

• Be Well || Vote Well: Be Well, Vote Well is a meditation and gentle yoga experience with Rebby Kern (they/them) and Vivian Selles (she/her) to guide you through relaxation and stress relief as we navigate this election season. • Pumpkin Spice Girls Drag Latte: Order delivery from your fave local restaurant, sip your grande PSL, grab your heels and your mask, and let’s dance! We’re kicking things off for National Coming Out Day with drag performances from youth and special guests from across North Carolina. Hosted by Equality NC, Youth OUTright and InsideOUT 180.

• PHONE BANK: Christy Clark, NC House 98: Join Equality NC and the LGBTQ Democrats of Mecklenburg County for a phone bank in support of Rep. Christy Clark, NC House 98! Rep. Clark is a staunch supporter of the LGBTQ community and the needs of vulnerable North Carolinians. We're thrilled to support her fight to bring a pro-equality majority to the NC Legislature.

Let's Talk!: Join ENC Executive Director Kendra Johnson, Former Council-member LaWana Mayfield and Collette Alston of the African American Caucus of Mecklenburg County for a discussion about why your vote matters.
