Our friends support an organization built on maximum efficiency. We are small, but we are mighty. Equality North Carolina is the umbrella organization for three separate but related organizations which enable us to effectively achieve our goals.

Equality North Carolina, our 501(c)(4) policy organization, is the only organization representing the needs of the LGBT community to the North Carolina General Assembly. Our strong professional lobbying team works in partnership with 6,000 dedicated online activists to cover the range of LGBT issues.

Equality NC Foundation, our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, trains and mobilizes LGBT and allied leaders, educates the community about our issues, and builds public support for equal rights.

Equality NC PAC endorses and raises funds for viable, pro-equality candidates in both state and local races. The battle for equality is being fought state by state, and Equality North Carolina is leading the fight in the Tar Heel State.

Our growing strength has been made possible by our grassroots supporters across the state. Without them, there would be no steady and consistent presence for the LGBT community in the halls of the North Carolina General Assembly. Show your commitment to equal rights by making a donation today!

Donations to Equality North Carolina and Equality NC PAC are not tax-deductible, but allow us to maximize our political impact. Donations to Equality NC Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We encourage our supporters to make gifts first to Equality NC and second to Equality NC Foundation, and we fundraise separately for Equality NC PAC. Beginning in 2007, we are actively encouraging donors to give $100 or more per month to Equality North Carolina and we will automatically allocate portions of these gifts to Equality NC Foundation based on gift size. This means you’ll be supporting our essential policy work while gaining a tax deduction for also supporting our educational work!
