About ENCEquality North Carolina is a statewide advocacy organization that works to secure equal rights and justice for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender North Carolinians.
The first Equality Conference & Gala, held on November 3, 2007 in Durham, drew 300 people for a day that included great keynote speakers, eight breakout sessions, and a gala reception.
The event is an opportunity for leaders from across the state to connect and find opportunities to learn from each other and work together, as well as get the latest information on key issues and learn new skills to aid them in their work for equality and justice. The evening gala celebrates our work and honors a strong ally with our Legislative Leadership Award.
