Democracy Project

Equality NC Foundation acts as the North Carolina coordinator for the Democracy Project of the Gill Foundation. This effort allows LGBT and allied organizations to more effectively use their lists and promotes collaboration among organizations.

The Equality Federation

The Equality Federation is the national coalition of statewide LGBT advocacy organizations. The Federation works to strengthen statewide organizations and their leaders.

NC AIDS Action Network

NCAAN is a community network that educates policy makers and all people in North Carolina about HIV/AIDS. Their mission is to reduce new infections, promote quality care and treatment services for North Carolina and mobilize North Carolinians to take action.

North Carolina Coalition for Lobbying Reform

The NCCLR, a nonpartisan collaboration of more than 45 of North Carolina’s conservative and progressive organizations and leaders, is pushing for legislation to make lobbyists report all of their expenditures on legislators, slow the revolving door from public interest legislator to special interest lobbyist and clean up other lobbying laws.
