Sign Up for the 2009 Equality Conference & Gala
9/17/2009 - Registration is now open for the 2009 Equality Conference & Gala! Greensboro will be the place to be on Saturday, November 14.
It's going to be an event to remember with a day full of cutting-edge policy discussions and activist skills training, followed by a glamorous evening of celebration. I hope you'll make plans now to join us for either or both events!
The daytime conference, to be held at UNCG, will feature amazing workshops covering everything from next steps on the School Violence Prevention Act to addressing hate crimes in our communities to religion and advocacy. Plus we'll have skill-builders on campus organizing, employee resource groups, harnessing the power of the media, and more!
The evening gala is Equality NC Foundation's largest fundraiser and a chance for us to come together in celebration of all that we have achieved together this year. Plus, we'll be presenting the coveted Legislative Leadership Award to one of our legislative champions. You won't want to miss the festivities at the beautiful Empire Room in downtown Greensboro.
Mark your calendars and register today. All early details are on our conference website.
We'll see you there. Keep an eye on your email for updates and announcements about this great event over the coming weeks!
