A Virtual Smorgasbord of Support & Activism!
12/10/2008 - A thoroughly modern organization as we are, Equality NC has had a presence on Facebook for quite a while. However, our popularity has really taken off in the past month due in large part to the recent Prop 8 protests and our annual conference.
We’re now up to over 1,000 Facebook friends!
And while it’s flattering to have a full dance card, the real advantage to having so many connections is that we can reach more activists quickly and efficiently — which will be especially important once the legislature is back in session for 2009.
Since the site is built to be interactive, our supporters can also use our ENC Facebook page to exchange ideas, post news items, and meet like-minded North Carolinians.
