- Discriminatory Constitutional Amendment Introduced in N.C. Senate
- 5/14/2008 - Just one day into the 2008 legislative session, Sen. Jim Forrester (R-Gaston) once again filed an anti-LGBT, anti-marriage state constitutional amendment. A similar bill is expected in the state House. Equality North Carolina is working to defeat these attempts to write discrimination into our state constitution.

- 5/7/2008 - Yesterday the Court of Appeals issued two rulings affecting same-sex families. These two cases now give us a detailed "roadmap" of what needs to be shown in a custody case between two same sex parents.
- ENC PAC Endorsed Candidates Fare Well in Primary
- 5/7/2008 - Twelve of Equality NC PAC's thirteen endorsed candidates won their competetive primary races yesterday. Only Richard Moore, the group's endorsed candidate for Governor, failed to secure his party's nomination. Pro-equality candidates won races for the Council of State, Court of Appeals, and the legislature.

- 4/22/2008 - North Carolina hospital patients will soon have a new right, ensuring that they can receive the visitors who matter most to them regardless of the legal status of their relationship. A new statewide rule will help ensure that same-sex partners and other loved ones will be treated the same as immediate family.
