Get Married for Equality

Equality NC Foundation celebrates the unions of all couples--gay and straight--who believe in marriage equality. Whether they're getting married legally or having a commitment ceremony, they've chosen to remind their friends and family that not all couples have access to the legal rights and responsibilities of marriage in our state. Some have also chosen to give their guests the option of honoring their union with a contribution to Equality NC Foundation's work.

The Couples

Michelle & Julia

Michelle & JuliaWhile your "presence" is the greatest gift you can share with us, we also recognize that some may desire sharing "presents" with us, too. That said, we've registered at the sites below and would also welcome those who choose to make a tax-free donation to the Equality NC Foundation in honor of "Julia and Michelle's Union."

While there are many rights and privileges that we are currently unable to share with our heterosexual married counterparts in this wonderful nation, our hope is that someday our family will be awarded the same rights and privileges that our parents' families have held.

Equality North Carolina refers to three separate organizations:  Equality NC, Equality NC Foundation, and Equality NC PAC. One of their current initiatives involves the creation of community for equality for all families in North Carolina. For more info, go to Michelle and Julia's donation page.

Other traditional guest registry information is also available below. However, as we've stated earlier, your "presence" is the greatest gift of all! Thanks again for celebrating with us in your own way!

Warmly,

Michelle & Julia
