Repeal HB2. Pass comprehensive non-discrimination protections. Restore North Carolina’s national image.
Enough is enough. Send a message to Raleigh that we won't stand for it. Add your voice now.
The North Carolina General Assembly and Governor McCrory rushed a bill through the legislature that is now the worst anti-LGBT bill in the nation - HB2.
Instead of focusing on infrastructure, transportation, or education, the governor and his friends at the General Assembly took it upon themselves to usurp local government. Time and time again they've proven that they are out of touch with what a majority of North Carolinians want – fairness and local control. Now, they've done it again— creating a law that takes away basic protections for the LGBT community.
While individual lawmakers may have taken varying stances on HB2, the General Assembly leadership and the Governor have been the most vocal proponents for the bill. You can reach their offices at the numbers listed below:
Governor Pat McCrory - (919) 814-2000
Rep. Tim Moore - (919) 733-3451 | Speaker of the House of Representatives
Sen. Phil Berger - (919) 733-5708 | Senate President Pro Tem
