VolunteerVolunteers are critical to our success. Whether helping out in the office, attending a mailing party, or building support in your community, we have a way you can make a real difference for North Carolina's LGBT community! Sign up for Volunteer Alerts from Equality North CarolinaWe send out volunteer alerts via email to let you know about mailing parties and special events where we're gathering contacts. If you haven't signed up for email updates and alerts from us, click here to join the Equality NC Action Network. Organizing VolunteersHelp us build support for the School Violence Prevention Act and other important legislation. Help us collect postcards and petitions to legislators to show the legislature that North Carolinians support these issues. Help us circulate these at community events, local organizations, churches, and college campuses. Contact our organizing fellow Josh Wynne at 919-829-0343 ext. 113 or josh@equalitync.org. Office VolunteersWe have a need for weekly volunteers to help us with routine tasks in the Raleigh office. If you can spend a few hours per week helping our administrative coordinator Shawn Long, please contact him at 919-829-0343 ext. 114 or shawn@equalitync.org. Fundraising Volunteers If you would like to help with our regional receptions, our new PAC reception, or the Equality Conference & Gala, please contact our director of development Kay Flaminio at 919-829-0343 ext. 112 or kay@equalitync.org.
